Vegetable Meatza Pie with Pesto Sauce

You won't feel guilty about indulging in this Meatza Pie because it is loaded with nutrients and vitamins your body needs!

Grass-fed beef is a great source of iron, zinc, niacin, selenium, and vitamin B6. Selenium works as an antioxidant, fighting against free-radical damage, and zinc strengthens the immune system. While iron is a critical mineral needed by the body to carry oxygen from the lungs to all tissues.

And, all three are essential nutrients to support and promote healthy thyroid function! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Meatza "Crust":

  • 2 lb ground beef

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp oregano

  • 2 tsp basil

  • 1 tsp thyme

  • 1 tsp parsley

  • 1 tsp sea salt

Meatza Toppings:

  • 6 cloves garlic minced

  • 1/2 red onion diced

  • 1/2 container mushrooms sliced

  • 1/2 zucchini sliced

  • Dino Kale Pesto to taste

  • Optional: More veggies of your choice

Directions:

Meatza "Crust"

  1. Preheat oven to 350º F.

  2. Place meat in a large mixing bowl with garlic powder, oregano, basil, thyme, parsley, sea salt. Mix until thoroughly combined.

  3. Spread mixture on a large baking sheet - make one large ‘pizza’ crust sized shape or two medium shapes.

  4. Bake for 15 minutes.

Meatza Toppings:

  1. Spread dino kale pesto over meatza pie “crust”.

  2. Top with meatza toppings.

  3. Cook until vegetables are crisp and meat is fully cooked - about 15-20 minutes.
